Ask what is covered, for how long, under what use conditions, and what evidence or servicing is required. Rental or commercial activity may raise questions depending on the product's terms. Keep purchase and installation records and use the documented claim route.
A warranty is not a substitute for maintenance or a guarantee of immediate replacement. Plan for downtime even where protection may apply.
