Ask what events trigger protection, how income is measured, what waiting periods or limits apply, and what evidence is required. A canceled stay does not automatically establish a covered interruption. Review exclusions and whether the provision fits seasonal income patterns.
Keep financial records that support the operation. Model uninsured downtime as well, because coverage cannot remove every possible interruption.
