What should direct-booking terms cover?

The answer

Terms should address the reservation, pricing, payment, cancellation, guest obligations, property use, and the relevant resolution process, with appropriate legal review. They must fit local requirements and the actual service. A copied contract can contain inapplicable provisions or promises you cannot fulfill.

Make material terms available before commitment and maintain version records. Terms are not a substitute for accurate property information.
