What should an asset register include?

Identify the asset, property, cost documentation, acquisition date, relevant service date, condition, disposal, and other information your adviser requires. Include model details where useful operationally. The register supports accounting and replacement planning, but those uses may require different fields.
Update it after replacements rather than retaining obsolete equipment as current. Keep supporting documents linked.
