Hosting requires active work even when contractors perform individual tasks. Someone must approve spending, monitor quality, handle unusual guest situations, and check business performance. A manager can reduce your involvement but also adds cost and oversight.
Model the time spent on turnovers, messages, maintenance, and bookkeeping before describing the business as passive. Delegating a task does not eliminate responsibility for it.
